7 Secrets Of Answered Prayer.
Have you ever prayed and had no response ?
I have really battled this through and searched the bible. On some occasions, when I prayed there seemed to be an immediate answer and on other occasions, it was as though the heavens where closed and we were praying the wrong prayers.
James 5:17,18 says that Elijah was a man like you and I, and he prayed with a passion and he prayed and the Lord answered Him. I have prayed in the past with much passion for certain things, only to find my prayers un-answered.
It is said ‘more things in life are answered through prayer than any other means known to man or the world dreams of’. The most POWERFUL weapon in the hands of any person, equal to praise and worship is prayer.
The two scriptures below give us insight into the seven secrets of answered prayer. I pray that the Lord will take you on this journey of exploring the power of prayer and the seven secrets of having your prayers answered.
1 John 3:21, 22 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence in the presence of God. Whatever we request we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.
1 John 5:14,15 And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: and if we know that he heareth us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
7 SECRETS TO ANSWERED PRAYER:
FREEDOM FROM CONDEMNATION.
Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus.
The very secret is to not allow your heart to condemn you. Christ has set you free, and what usually happens is that the negative self condemned attitude that says ‘nothing good will ever happen to me’ over rules the promise of God that says ‘the Lord’s Hand is not to short that it cannot save’ Is.59;1,2
If our hearts condemn us, then let us take careful note of the following two scriptures.
Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith Jehovah: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
1Jo 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We need to keep in mind, what Jesus did on the cross for us, is free us from every thing and anything that condemns. That would be the past and the present. TO be free of future condemnations, we need to walk in close relationship with God and have our confidence in Him and not in ourselves.
CONFIDENCE IN GOD.
